Earl Clarence Glasco
August 17, 1929 - May 16, 2020
Earl Clarence Glasco was born August 17, 1929 to the late Earl Glasco and Beatrice Glasco. He departed this life on May 16, 2020.
He was educated at Kennett Consolidated School. In May, 1946 he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for three years. He received an honorable discharge on May 13, 1949. In 1950 he completed his education, and received his Diploma from Columbia High School in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He has three sons Wayne E. Glasco, Kevin L Glasco, and Gregory C Glasco. After he completed his time in the military he began work at the United States Postal Service, where he worked for thirty years. He then worked for Longwood Gardens for ten years where he learned about horticulture. Where became very skillful, and was sought out by many to help with their gardening, and shrubbery. He was so busy that he had to turn some jobs down.
As you can see Earl was blessed to live a long full life. He was many things to many people. A great Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Cousin, Uncle, Friend. The list could go on and on. His hobbies and accomplishments were many. He loved golf, fishing, bowling, gardening, hunting, cooking just to list a few. He also looked to the future, and invested wisely. He loved his family, and one thing he would say is, I want to see everybody get along. There was a religious side of him too. He was a faithful member of the Salvation Army Church in West Chester Pennsylvania. Where he attended faithfully until his health prevented him from attending. He will be remembered for his seven up cake, the vegetables he grew, the stories he used to tell about the old days growing up, and the jokes he used to tell. For over forty years every Sunday the family would go up to Dads to socialize, and have good ole family fun. But we are fortunate that when we come together now, that we all can still share our fondest memories of him which are endless.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl, and Beatrice Glasco, 3 siblings, Wonita Ruff, Loraine Brown, Phyllis Harris. He is survived by 3 Sons, and there wives Wayne and Beverly Glasco, Kevin and Helen Glasco, Gregory and Lonja Glasco, 9 Grandchildren, Holly, Wayne Jr., Erica, Jennifer, Kellie, Niya, Talin, Avi, Jasmine, 9 Great Grandchildren Kaiden, Karter, Kaizeley, Eli, Mallery, Cameron, Courtney, Claton, and a host of Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
